William Hills, Station Lane, Hornchurch

William Hills Hornchurch shop

The William Hills shop in Hornchurch Essex was a tricky project, the rear of the shop resembled a forest at one point and some large trees had to be removed.

The shop itself had a large frontage area but lacked in depth,  the project consisted of adding a 13 metre by 7 metre extension to the rear giving the shop a more square internal appearence.

This whole project was undertaken whilst the shop remained trading,  all but a few hours one morning to allow a new concrete front entrance ramp and new overboarding and weather proofing of the existing shop roof area.

This project gave us nothing but problems from day 1, from snow whilst we excavated the foundations to torrential rain during the latter stages, access was a big problem here but with the help and assistance of the Hornchurch sports club, we managed to remove waste and  bring in materials in via their car park.

As you can see from the picture to the right the shop looks incredibly spacious.

Counter view from inside Now completed the shop is almost double in size, with a new state of the art Air conditioning system, low energy light fittings, and a complete new look.

The furniture is set around a 21 screen tv gantry fitted with the latest in LCD screens  making for comfortable viewing.
